| but misleading to Z32 readers. To clearify for readers, come cars you actually can blend around 30 to 50% e85 and the factory ecu can compensate via its o2 sensors (SOME vehicles with factory widebands can do this) some can't. As for a Z32 after only a couple gallons of e85 the Z32 will start to stumble, AFRs go very lean, and it will stall or drive horrible. Well beginning e85 tunes we start to fill up the car with engine running with Nistune on hand, as we fill up the car with tune the k value simultaneously during fill up to correct AFR. We find a suitable K value for a blend tune. We then return later for a no blend tune, correct the k value again and start tuning the fuel tables. Then onto dyno to optimize timing and other tables. Watching AFRs alone will let you know if there had been a ethanol content change at your pump or station to station. For a simple 740cc 850cc injector and e85 set up, a factory based ECU is plenty capably.
